President of the Municipal Council for Women's Rights in Poços de Caldas.
As President, I participated in several actions in defense of women's rights. As a highlight, the structuring of the PAEFI/WOMAN CREAS and the holding of the I Regional Conference on Public Policies for Women (2011). Poços de Caldas was mentioned in the National Plan for Public Policies for Women (2011), among the only two municipalities articulated in public policies for women. I conceived and carried out several workshops with women in situations of social vulnerability, such as Flores EVA, Pata de Vaca leaves, pet bottle in partnership with PUC, necklace "life bills" as awareness against breast cancer, among others, always with the looking at income generation and sustainability.
Enchanted Christmas in Poços de Caldas (2009/2012)
Creator of the event, organizer and member of the committee. The event had three work fronts:
Sustainability/Lighting: Led lighting with sustainability objective – energy saving.
Social/Decoration: use of waste such as Pet and EVA used by women in situations of social vulnerability, who produced Christmas decorations, generating employment and income.
Culture: viability through fundraising and drafting of an approved Incentive Law
for the appreciation of the local artist, generating employment, income and appreciation of the historical heritage.
